n the doomed depths of the space hulk Gallowdark , elite kill teams hunt each other through collapsing passageways. The space hulk is on the verge of being destroyed, whole chunks tearing from its bulk due to the catastrophic collision with an Imperial prison barge. As its disintegration draws near, long-trapped distress signals from an Iron Cognate of the Leagues of Votann finally manage to reach the galaxy outside. From now on, the Reachfar, a Trans-Hyperian Alliance cruiser, rushes to the hulk to rescue this lost comrade. But that won’t be an easy task, as the Cognats are hunted by a pack of Affregor Ravagers, terrifying Chaos Beastmen who are among the fiercest and cunning inhabitants of the Gallowdark .
